Flocculatora have specially designed for use in water treatment plants to correctly estimate the dosing of alum and such other coagulants for treatment of water and effluent. It provides identical test conditions for all samples. Samples monitoring is assisted by diffused base illumination and a black background for clear and easy view of samples. Can accommodate both 1 or 2 liter beakers easily.
These are fitted with heavy duty D.C. Motor for continuous operations from 20 to 180 rpm. Speed is controlled through a continuously variable solid state speed regulator to maintain rotational speed of stainless steel paddles with adjustable spacers to adjust the depth of stirring paddles through highly durable individual teflon bushes. Coaulant dispenser, an optional accessory, is also available which allows addition of coagulant into the samples simultaneously. This dispenser features a metal rod fitted with clips to hold 16-20mm diameter tubes. Fitted immediately above the beakers, the rod is simply rotated to decant the coaulant.
Available in three models to accept 6, 4 or 2 samples. Unit of 6 and 4 samples are bench top models whereas unit of 2 is incorported with a handle for easy portability and transportation. Optional Accessories : Coagulant dispenser for feeding dose to all stirring units simultaneously.
